The stitched lines, scratches, pins, and colour fragments aren’t wounds so much as witness marks: the quiet evidence of a life shaped by inherited narratives, early dynamics, and long periods of self-doubt. The figure isn’t defined by what it has survived — it simply acknowledges that it once absorbed what was never its own, and has since learned to release it.

The doll-like form, patched and reconstructed, reflects the process of re-sewing the self from the inside out. Its texture speaks to the moment someone realises they can stop shrinking, stop over-owning what others project, and stand whole on their own terms.
