Presence
Original by Keny
Acrylic & Oil on Canvas
Framed in solid boxed Tasmanian oak
Dimensions: 1.5m x 1.5m
Signed on reverse, with original poem handwritten by the artist.
This is the founding painting of the ManOS movement — the visual that gave language to a book, a philosophy, and a worldwide brotherhood. Created during the rebirth period that shaped ManOS, it stands as both artifact and altar: the moment presence itself became visible.

Artist’s Statement
“There were two lines once.
One — the code I was given:
be strong, don’t cry, fit the frame.
The other — the line I tried to draw for myself,
wrong at first, then covered, then revealed.
The painting spoke before I did.
It told me:
you can’t erase what made you,
only stand beside it,
truer this time.”
— Keny, from the poem “Presence” (inscribed on the reverse)
Interpretation
The blue — the now.
The yellow — the horizon we imagine.
The cross — where belief pierces time.
Every dream, every memory, must pass through this one breath.
Binary marks whisper under the surface —
the old program still running,
but rewritten, line by line,
by presence itself.
Provenance
This is not just an artwork.
It is the visual genesis of ManOS — The Operating System for Men.
Presence was painted in silence, before the book had words, capturing the fracture and the return. It later became a symbolic touchstone for the global ManOS movement, embodying the act of rebuilding the man beneath the mask.
The piece includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity and high-resolution photographic documentation of the work and inscription.
